Ramsamy Segogoba Incorporated is a contemporary law firm that was established by Cheryl Ramsamy and Phasudi Doctor Segogoba.

The shared vision of the shareholders is to create a law firm that specialises in conveyancing, deceased estates and commercial work. The shareholders are committed to providing their clients with superior service in the aforesaid areas of the law.

While the firm may be newly founded the combined experience of the shareholders uniquely positions the firm to handle both voluminous and complex matters.

Our paralegals are well-trained on the vendor systems and are able to assist with various aspects of conveyancing.

The computers are programmed for conveyancing purposes and are fitted with the necessary programs such as Law and Stordoc.

6Serious about youth

Our firm is serious about affirming the youth. We have taken a conscious decision to train youth who are fresh from school and provide the deserving ones to be employed by our firm. The trainees are being mentored continuously by senior paralegal. We have employed two of them already. Both ladies are from the previously disadvantaged group.

We have consistently preformed well on the ABSA panel and averaged 98% score for the last three months.

The directors are always available to clients to address any queries/matters of their concern.
9Languages
In addition to English and Afrikaans, we also use Zulu and Sotho to accommodate those groups who are not well conversant in English or Afrikaans.

Management

Phasudi Doctor Segogaba

Phasudi Doctor Segogoba was admitted as an Attorney in 2002 and subsequently as a Conveyancer in 2005. He has been appointment as a Director and Shareholder at Dykes van Heerden Incorporated since 2006.

He has played a pivotal role in managing various areas of the business including but not limited to liaising with corporate clients such as the four major commercial banks, implementing systems for managing the performance of employees and attending to all aspects of conveyancing. He has gained recognition for his expertise resulting in him being invited as a Guest on “Ask the Property Experts” hosted by Summit TV.

The extensive experience gained by him prepared him to establish another law Practise together with his co-director Cheryl Ramsamy, hence the birth of Ramsamy Segogoba Incorporated. In addition to the qualifications aforesaid he has acquired a certificate in the administration of estates. He has over the years also developed an expertise in this area of the law.

The acquired knowledge and expertise gained by him has been selflessly shared with other previous disadvantaged groups both within the industry and his community. He believes that knowledge empowers and endeavours to empower as many people as possible.

Cheryl Ramsamy

Cheryl Ramsamy has a B. Proc Degree and is an admitted conveyancer. She specializes in all aspects of conveyancing, including development work. She has successfully managed the development department of Dykes van Heerden Incorporated for the last 10 years. She enjoys the complicated nature of the work and strives on the challenges the work presents. She frequently handles large volumes of work together with her team.

She also has a master in Business Administration from Henley Business School. She shares the vision of her co-director and Shareholder with regards to knowledge and empowerment.

In addition to the above she has gained valuable experience in managing employees, managing processes and general office management. The aforementioned experience uniquely positions her to manage Ramsamy Segogoba Incorporated.
